Jackson Andrew Grant & Tyler: Vienna, Austria

Vienna, Austria: The Capital city, sitting at the easternmost extension of the Alps, with the Danube River flowing throughout. It's a city filled with endless palaces, theaters, museums, opera houses, churches and lush gardens. Affectionately referred to as 'The City of Music.'

I was in awe of the amazing statues and tributes they offer their hometown musical geniuses: Mozart, Strauss, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Haydn.

Using the popular "Vienna Card" we scoured the city by metro, bus, train, tram, faiker, and foot. We developed a greater appreciation of the imperial history of Austria and its most famed emperor, Franz Joseph.

Janelle's Favorites:
*Vienna Opera House: We heard the Vienna Mozart Orchestra perform classics like Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Rondo, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, and Concerto for Flute.
*Faiker Tour of the City: We took a very romantic horse-drawn carriage ride all around the heart of downtown Vienna!
*Danube River Cruise: We took a sunset river cruise on the Danube River.

Eric's Favorite:
*Donauturm (Danube Tower): Being at the top of the 820 foot tower and watching all the bungie cord jumpers jump off the edge!!
