Batter Up!

Jackson played baseball this spring through Chandler National Little League. He played in the "Rookie" division. He was thrilled that Eric was his coach, and they both had a great time doing it together. They picked the team name, "Timber Rattlers." Jackson couldn't even hold a bat properly when the season started so I was very, very, very nervous! But, he worked SO hard and improved like crazy!! By the end of the season, he was knocking it out of the park!! We are so proud of him!

 

Chandler National Little League was awesome! Opening Day was spectacular with all the players being paraded onto the field. There were bounce houses, hot dogs, snow cones and even ASU's mascot Sparky!! And hundreds and hundred of people, all celebrating the start of a new season.

On March 23rd their first game was against the Tin Caps! Jackson played against his buddy from church Primary, Maddox.

On May 6th, Eric organized the team's end-of-season bash and trophy ceremony at Peter Piper Pizza. Jackson loved that and the boys had such a great time celebrating a winning season!
