At the end of each quarter, our local school district has 2 1/2 weeks of vacation. It's 2 1/2 weeks of pure fun and delight!! I love it! Jackson had school vacation from October 1st - 17th. We spent a week in California at 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' We went to Mickey's Halloween Party and went Trick-or-Treating around the park. Jackson dressed up as a StormTrooper, with Andrew as C3PO and Grant as R2D2. They were quite the Star Wars Trio!
(For all you Star Wars fans out there... One of the Disney employees actually asked Jackson, "So, did you find the droids you were looking for?" I died laughing...)

Jackson fought Darth Maul in an (opportunistic) epic battle on the street with his new purple light saber. Look out Samuel L. Jackson - aka Jedi Master Mace Windu, the force is strong with this one...
One of the highlights of our Disneyland trip was spending a few days with my brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Barbie, and their kids, Holly & Dallin. Jackson LOVED running around the park with his best friend, Holly!!

And of course, we all LOVED the brand new Cars Land and Lightning McQueen Ride "Radiator Springs Racers"!!
We loved every second of our vacation and can't wait to go back!!
